Pros: report most of the events of the world
Cons: The newscasters are biased, They "forget" to report all the news
The Bottom Line: I beg anyone who watches or reads any news to take it with a grain of salt. Ask yourself what they say if it were our country in the spotlight.

I fail to understand why it is that our “un-biased” news reports are skewing their reports so terribly.
(This epinion is about CBS news only)
Since the tragedy September 11th our country has been on high alert. Our friends and family were killed, our nation was attacked on our own soil, and our country was hurt beyond our greatest fears. President Bush immediately stepped up to the plate. He had some hard decisions to make and he made them.
For two weeks now we have been bombing Afghanistan because they refused to give over the lead terrorist Osama Bin Laden. Don’t get me wrong, I think this was a good idea. I’m very pro fighting back against terror. From what I’ve been seeing on TV and in the news, however, this is not a war on terrorism, and newscasters such as those I saw on CBS last night.
I’m not even concerned right now with our government and the others in the world flip flopping back and forth on its stand on terrorism. The job of a reporter is to report news in an un-biased manner. Then explain to me why last night on CBS news the women behind the desk reported that there was “vigilante justice” in Israel, when the army killed the Hamas terrorist responsible for the attack on a Tel-Aviv nightclub a few months ago. Is she suggesting that using force to destroy a terrorist be considered “vigilante justice”? As I mentioned above we are currently blowing the hell out of Afghanistan. Two weeks of air strikes and we still don’t have the man who is responsible and that isn’t vigilantism, but one strike by Israel, where the terrorist responsible is killed, and that is?
This is not the first time CBS has misrepresented the facts like this and they aren’t the only ones. I have written countless emails to CBS and have never received a response. In the past they have disregarded several stories that occured in Israel only a short time after they felt the need to spend a great deal of time on an anti-Israel story that ended up being false.
The fact that politically motivated groups, such as various countries are biased is one thing, but now CBS, or un-biased media, is feeding us propaganda.
Althoug I would recommend CBS news as a decent place to get your news, I beg anyone who watches or reads any news to take it with a grain of salt. Ask yourself what the newscaster would say if our country was the one in the spotlight.
