TITUS, This show is on my "Gotta See TV" list. It's about Titus (Christopher Titus), a guy who owns a custom car shop. His father, Ken (Stacy Keach), a wise cracking drunk, his step brother Dave (Zack Ward) lives with Ken, his step father and he works with Christopher at the custom car shop.
There's also Tommy (David Shatraw), he's the one who comes from a normal family. He's a bit nervous with a side of paranoia. He is Christopher's best friend from childhood, and like Christopher's brother Dave, Tommy also works with them.
Then there's Erin (Cynthia Watros). She plays the girlfriend of Christopher. They knew each other since they were in high school but had gone to different schools. They ran in different crowds with Erin being popular.
Titus is a comedy show revolving around Christopher, coming from a dysfunctional family, with his mom being in an institution for the mentally ill. She was in one of the episodes of Titus. Being released from the institution, she came to see her son. Everyone thought that she was "cured" except for Christopher. She even had Ken fooled. She made a huge dinner for everyone and without them having any clue, she had drugged them, all except for Ken who she was in the bed room with. While everyone was eating, they were getting tired from the pills that she put in their food. Then you see Ken come running out of the bed room and she starts chasing him out of the house with a broken bottle.
After the show was over, he made a comment about how serious mental illness is.
Besides Titus, most of my "Gotta See TV" is on FOX. Including X Files, Simpsons, and Malcolm in the Middle just to name a few.
