too much golf

As a golf fan, I often criticize and even ridicule people who say that televised golf is boring. Even so, there is such a thing as too much golf, and the Golf Channel is a classic example of too much golf. Life is too short to watch the Nike Tour. I realize that turning off the TV is not an option for most people, but there are plenty of other things on TV to watch that aren't quite as mind-numbing as bad golf. There is nothing wrong with watching the Masters, the Ryder Cup, or a documentary on Babe Didrickson, but for God's sake turn off the Japanese Senior Tour.
