This channel hates men like the Ku Klux Klan hates blacks! You can bet that if a man ever rapes, beats, molests, kills or cheats on his wife/girlfriend/hooker/sister/daughter/grandmother or nun in a movie or mini-series, it will be on Lifetime (television for man-haters).
It's not that beating women should be condoned. But does every movie have to portray men (unless homosexual) as immoral substance abusing sex fiends?
I actually saw a Lifetime movie where the plot involved the woman kidnapping a judge (who of course, wronged her terribly) and held him at gunpoint! Somehow women committing heinous/felonious acts of revenge becomes not only acceptable but admirable.
Lifetime isn't all bad (just mostly). Their Intimate Portrait series is a decent (although noticeably estrogenized) version of A&E's "Biography". It's the Lifetime movies you have to be careful with. Although, some folks must watch them because Lifetime recently launched Lifetime Movies, an all original movie network of the same garbage! Scary isn't it!
