Pros: Some great shows day and night
Cons: Some cartoons to geared towards teenagers not school children
The Bottom Line: Parents should watch or at least pre- view the shows that their children watch.

| sherit's Full Review: Nickelodeon |
Wow, what a channel- it really has it all. Daytime programming for preschoolers, afternoon programs for school children and teenagers and all night it has shows for us big "folks"
On any given day my TV is pointed at Nickelodeon from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Then it's back to Nickelodeon from 10 PM on.
I do not know what I would have done without Nickelodeon when I first had my son. All those sleepless nights and night feedings had me going bonkers but then I realized that Nickelodeon has Nick at night to keep us bleary-eyed new parents company.
Or on the mornings my son would get up at t 4 am for the day, I at least had some entertainment as I played/feed rocked my baby.
I would say 90% of the shows on Nickelodeon are of the best quality- they are funny, witty, entertaining and suitable for the whole family.
There are a few exceptions though, and I caution all parents to watch TV with their children.
Even a show as awful as the Rugrats, can turn into a teaching tool, if a parent is around to point out how mean Angelica is.
Have you seen SpongeBob? Fun for the whole family :)
Nick at night has timeless shows that never lose their charm and wit.
School age/teenage children and all night,it has shows for us big "folks"
