Nickelodeon consistently has the best cartoons for young children that encourage good old family values, that are educational .... and without all the violence. Believe it or not ... a very energetic "all boy" 5 year old enjoys these cartoons more than some of the violent and border line adult cartoons that come on "Cartoon Network" such as "Johnny Bravo" and "The Powder Puff Girls".
Nickelodeon has Franklin that comes on early in the morning while my son is getting ready for school. This is probably one of the best cartoons I've seen in a long time. This cartoon teaches young children good old fashion values; such as sharing, manners, relating to others, etc., etc. Nickelodeon also has Blue's Clues (if you ask me though, Steve has got to be a little "funny"), and Rugrats.
My son also watches Cartoon Network occasionally and personally I think these cartoons are more geared toward adults then children.
I'm don't want to condemn Cartoon Network; just advise that if you have a young child that likes cartoons ... encourage them to watch Nickolodeon over Cartoon Network.
Thanks for listening.
