Do you have a room in your home that doesn't quite look as nice as you'd like it to. But, you don't have any ideas of how to fix it up. Well, TLC has a solution for you.
Show Description
Trading Spaces is a show where neighbors offer up a room in their home to be decorated by each other. The transformation of these rooms takes place over a 48 hour span of time and must stay within a budget of $1000. Each team is made up of 2 people and a professional decorator. Both teams are also offered the assistance of a handyman/handywoman, whom they must share.
Now, the rules state that neither team can have any contact with each other during the 48 hours and can't know at all, what is going on in their own home. After the 48 hours is complete, they return home to see what their newly decorated room looks like.
My Thoughts
I can't get enough of this show! Watching the decorators work their magic on these rooms is wonderful. The teams involved can provide quite a bit of entertainment as they respond to the ideas of the decorators, which can be quite off the wall, and as they try to work together.
Personally, I have come away from watching this show with some wonderful decorating ideas. They show that with some team work you can complete a home project in a weekend.
I would say that this show will appeal to anyone who likes new and unusual decorating ideas.
