I know the automatic translators are lousy; I also keep a Spanish-English dictionary handy.
I've seen a few more episodes of Tatiana since then, and there have been fewer repeats of her songs (though the music videos of other artists they play tend to be rather repetitive).
Interesting that you mention Sesame Street -- I was six years old in 1969 when it premiered, and it was immediately my favorite show at the time. (And I haven't grown up much since... :)) But Tatiana is more interesting: her show has more variety than Sesame, doesn't try to be as blatantly educational at all times, and she's sure prettier than Big Bird!

I just thought I'd comment on using Internet translators. They are mostly good, but in your example of "infantile" programs they often mess up. Un programa infantil is translated into English as a children's program. You were right in saying you didn't think it meant the same as the derrogatory comment in English. I'm glad you had fun watching this program, it is almost like someone tuning into Sesame Street here in the United States. Oh, also as for the repetition of the songs, most of them are usually popular kids songs (like London Bridge). I'm really impressed with the insightful review you gave even if you only remember a little bit from your Spanish class.
