Pros:Creative stories, short enough stories to keep kids attention
Cons:Put the names of the stories and what characters are in them....
The Bottom Line: A good one to add to your Thomas and Friends collection.
At Sams the other day my son picked up a Cars book, a Thomas the Train book and a Thomas video with James on the cover. I told him to pick one and of course he picked the video because it featured a wooden railway car as well as the DVD. Since having this movie in our collection (since Sunday, today is Wednesday), my son has watched this five times and I have watched it once.

The Story Stops
- The title story of the DVD, James Goes Buzz Buzz
- One Good Turn
- Berties Chase
- Percy, James and the Fruitful Day
- Wrong Road
The reason we wanted this DVD is that we already have the Thomas and Friends book called James Goes Buzz Buzz. We were excited to see the extended story of the Bee story.
It is a story about James boasting because he is so brave and then being swarmed by bees. He gets stung on the nose, but finally takes the bees back to the beehive after trying to get rid of them in other ways. James tries to wash and steam the bees off of his boiler.
My son watched the whole movie all the way through the first time. Now when he watches it I have to sit with him to get the very reason we bought this DVD - The James Goes Buzz Buzz story! He says he is scared! But he still wants to watch it.

Pluses and Minuses
+ I love the voice of George Carlin narrating the Thomas and Friends stories. I know it is strange to have a pretty out there comic narrating a childrens line of DVDs, but I naturally attribute his voice to Percy, Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt - especially.
- There is a little too much Bill and Ben in the video. There is not a list of the stories on the back of the DVD, so therefore you are expecting a James dominated video. It is a little Bill and Ben dominated.
At $9.98 for a DVD and a cute wooden railway car carrying a barrel of honey, this is a steal. As my husband put it, when you buy one of the DVDs that include a train, you feel like you are really getting something. Not to mention the stories on this one are pretty good!
