Trend Enterprises Accents Puzzle Pieces Classic 5-1/2" Tall 36/PK Multi - TEPT10906

When purchasing products for classroom/school use, the company Trend Enterprises is often my first resource for materials .. and this product was no exception.

We were designing a bulletin board to display students, cooperation and teamwork.  We wanted a "puzzle" type design and we wanted something sturdy. Let's face it, puzzle pieces are hard to create, and even harder to cut out.  We needed some more of template .. and when we saw these already designed in a pack, it was a no brainer.

This pack of puzzle pieces were designed in a variety of "classic colors - red, blue green, orange, yellow and purple.  They are designed to be approximately 5 and a half inches tall and are made out of a paper material. 

These puzzle pieces could be used to decorate or "accent" a lot of bulletin boards or materials with a puzzle theme. They would also be useful in some sort of Autism related display, since they use the puzzle piece icon often.  Additionally, these pieces could be written on, laminated, and used as activities for sorts and centers for alphabet matching, rhyming, number order, sequencing and an unlimited number of educational related activities.

The puzzle pieces are bright, colorful, and for our purposes lasted well. 

We used this set by affixing a small photo of each child to the center of the puzzle piece and then laminating.  This went on a larger display that said, "We are all pieces of the puzzle ... and we all fit together".  This was for a class that had an abrupt change in teachers/staff and we were looking for a way to help the newly hired teacher "unify" her new room. 

The kids, staff, and building loved the idea - and the colorful puzzle pieces from Trend really stood out.  What a great purchase!
