Rubbermaid™ Lightweight, Two Step Stool is a hard-wearing, easy fold device designed for use in kitchen, bathroom, or wherever a little help is needed to reach something just a tad too high for a smallish person.

Because I am petite, aging, independent and hope to remain so far into the future without need for always calling upon Husband or anyone else for help,  and, I chose this step stool for myself; I prefer the compact, ease to use and store design.  

Bent metal tubing is used for the frame and back cross member with heavy metal wire step framing cross beams, heavy duty poly material steps rest on heavy wire cross members.  Steps are black, hand grip and poly foot pads are black, white, wipe clean, powder coating covers frame and rear cross member.

My foot fits nicely on the step, the larger platform step for standing upon at the top feels secure, the hand grip adds to the feeling of stability and secure standing as I am reaching; I have no desire at all to topple from the device.

Especially as I age; I like that the hefty top step locks in place by design to provide a protected, stable standing area while the well placed, curved, hand grip top serves to provide more security causing the stool to feel more secure when I need to climb to reach the top shelf. 

I do not often carry the step stool by the hand grip or otherwise; I got tired of toting the one stool I had from room to room and now have one in the pantry, one near the side door for myself and for a feline perch when I don’t need it, and I have one in the pantry.

Non mar feet provide greater stability when stood upon and protect the floor as well.

I like knowing the heavy-duty construction will hold up to 200 lbs, not that it is likely ever have that much weight placed on it, however it provides peace of mind knowing that the construction is sturdy and not likely to break as I use the step to provide myself independence and height needed for reaching things I need.

I am not tall, and while I continue to rely a good bit upon Husband who is tall, he is often busy out at the barn.  I find dragging a chair around the house to climb upon proves cumbersome; purchased initially several years ago from the local big box store; my first folding Rubbermaid stool has proven itself so helpful, that it has since been joined by others. 

I find it easier to simply have a step help in the pantry, my closet, wherever I may need to have a little help to reach something just a tad out of my reach.

Practical in bedroom, bath, pantry, garage and kitchen for reaching hard to reach areas; the first step provides a secure step for the foot while the second step raises short adults or others securely and without problem as I continue my independence to get to items I might otherwise not be able to access.

I find this 2-step stool to be easy carry, lightweight, will fold to a thin 2.5 inch width for easy storage.
