Korea Air Nightmare....avoid it and Fly JAL

I flew Korean Air from Toronto to Busan, via Seoul. Oh never again. This is the worst airline I have ever flown (next is United). First, the seats I had booked online were not the seats I was given. Instead I was placed in the middle seat in the middle of the rear cabin (747). The family behind me put the trays down so their children could sleep on them. When the kids were not sleeping, they were kicking my chair and poking me with a spoon. When I complained to the flight attendant she only said "They are Korean children. They like play." She didn't resolve the issue so I asked the parents to please have them stop. The parents complained the the flight attendant and I was told no to annoy the other passengers. This was 2 hours into a 11 hour flight. The inflight entertainment is a huge bore....either old movies everyone in American has already seen, or non-english asian dramas. The seats are out of date, and the seating space extremely space compared to other airlines. I felt the flight attendants were more concerned with putting on make up than answering requests for water. Very unprofessional. The meals are UNEDIBLE. I was served something that looked like a salad gone Jungle Book wild...roots, weird vegetables I have never seen, and a tube of some spicy red paste (not edible either). The meals were unpleasant. Only breakfast was 50% edible. This was the flight from hell, and even when we landed it was terrible. The passengers all jumped up as soon as we landed and began pulling out their bags (we were still taxi-ing on the runway from having landed). I was pushed around and bumped and never got one apology. This whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth....and that is not from the food. Oh, they also lost my luggage in Seoul somwhere, so when I arrived in Busan for my meeting, I only have my clothing from the flight. I was not offered any compensation considering my bags were missing for 3 days and when I received them (they did deliver them), they were covered in hay! I don't know how hay ended up covering my luggage. This is not a good airline, and even though there are good reviews on here, makes me wonder if it is not Korean Airlines staff writing the reviews!
