Pros: Polite staff, communicative attendants, great food, and lots of it, many offers of beverages.
Cons: One seat requested not available, take off Chicago late, no impact on connecting flight.
The Bottom Line: Flight crew made a long trip very comfortable.

I recently went on a trip to Syria and Lebanon and chose Air France to travel from Chicago to Paris to Damascus, then Beirut to Paris to Chicago.
The only disappointment was that I was not put in the seat that I thought I had chosen on the flight from Chicago to Paris, though it was no big deal because the seat I had was nice enough and I wasn't near any crying babies. The flight attendants were so polite and patient, and I could not get tired of being called 'Madame' whenever they offered a beverage or meal. Speaking of meals, they were the most delicious meals I've ever had a any flight. The flight to Paris from Chicago offered two meals, one a dinner served at about 8:00 PM and then a breakfast served a couple hours before landing. The flight from Paris to Damascus offered another meal. We were, without a doubt, well fed. It was the same on the return trip from Beirut. I would definitely travel Air France again the next time I go overseas.
Also, at O'Hare the check-in staff gave me a map of Ch. DeGaulle Airport and told me exactly how to get to my connecting flight. That was a first that I appreciated greatly.
Thanks for making an exciting vacation even more enjoyable!
