Pros: the plain works
Cons: Too Many to write here dont fly theme
The Bottom Line: Air France is one of the worst Air Lines I have flown with, And has NO security and No regard for customer Care.

This year I had this misfortune to fly air France. In the past I considered Air France to be a good airline as it is state owned, however had never flown with them.
With my work ( Television producer) I fly weekly to many countries around the world. On this Occasion I was Flying from Lisbon to Paris.
Before Leaving the jet way (gate) the person sitting in front of me became rather agitated and started to punch his seat, Forcing it to collapse onto my legs. I politely complained to him at which point he Punched me in the face.
I pressed the bell to call the stewardess and informed her what had happened, also asked her to call the Police as I wished to press charges against the man for assault. To my amazement she did nothing. I continued to complain to her and then the purser.
Who’s response to my complaint was “ Sit down and Shut Up” I refused to sit down and insisted that they call the police ( the plain had not left the terminal and it would have been easy for the police to enter the plain) Again Air France refused to call the Police and did nothing to secure the safety of myself or other passengers. A few minutes later the Captain came over. I explained to him what had happened and told him to call the police . He refused and told me that it would delay the flight so he would not call them. They did however move the man to another seat.
The captain in French then apologised to the rest of the passengers and made a remark about the English . Which was racist.
I later wrote, telephoned ,faxed and e-mailed Air France ( and I still am doing so) for over two months. I later received a letter apologising for what had happened and it went on to explain how Air France are improving there Customer Care Program
There was no offer of compensation or any recompense for there actions. I am now in the process of suing Air France and Also having them prosecuted for contravening international aviation law i.e. not calling the police.
I would recommend not flying by this airline EVER
