Pros: None really
Cons: The worst customer service on any major airline--and that's saying a lot
The Bottom Line: Customers have a choice of airlines, so why give your business to one with such lousy customer service.

| ralphgot's Full Review: British Airways |
I travel often and usually have good experiences. I have Gold Elite status with Continental Airlines and Premier Executive with United. I have never encountered the kind of problems that I have experienced with British Airways.
I made two international reservations on the British Airways website in JULY, and five months later, I still don't have one of the tickets. Every time I call to find out where the ticket is, they promise to send it to me--and then don't. I have also sent three e-mails, again using their website, and all I get is an automated response. I have called at least ten times in the last two months, spending hours on the phone, and still don't have the tickets. Not one representative of British Airways has ever apologized for these problems. In fact, they try to blame me. They insist that they had the wrong address for me, ignoring the fact that they managed to send me one of the two tickets to my correct home address. Three days ago, British Airways gave me a FedEx tracking number for the missing ticket. I took the time to call FedEx and go to their website, but the tracking number is invalid. Today, British Airways told me on the phone that they had entered the wrong tracking number. It seems to me that British Airways can't get anything right.
I was very much looking forward to this trip and British Airways has managed to make it such an unpleasant experience for me--and I haven't even left yet. I am amazed that no one from British Airways can explain why this mess happened and no one has ever apologized to me. I spoke with one supervisor on Friday who went out of her way to be unpleasant. I thought British Airways was a world-class airline. Obviously, I was wrong.
I think British Airways owes me an explanation. An apology would be nice too. And, of course, I need my ticket.
