Pros: Great in-flight service, courteous and resourceful, no crash record
Cons: Delays and luggage issues
The Bottom Line: BWIA is a good airline but is more prone than most to delays. Great for flying into Trinidad and Tobago cheaply for Carnival or vacation.

Okay, so BWIA isn't the best around. But you can't fault them in the air. The stewardesses are courteous and cordial, the food is good and they've never crashed once in the history of the airline. Very few airlines can boast that.
However, they do have a nasty habit of temporarily "losing" luggage i.e. leaving it at your port of entry and like everyone else, they do get delayed. The secret of Bee-Wee, as we call them, is to book in advance and GET THERE EARLY. I mean 2 hours for International flights early. Look for specials during summer and deep winter (i.e. December/ January). Also, if you're delayed, pump them for compensation. I've been delayed in Miami and pocketed $350.00US and a hotel stay on their tab, so be mad and get paid. Overall, certainly a very functional and enjoyable airline to fly. Best for Singles, Couples and Seniors.
