Pros: Good food, great Staff, new aircraft.
Cons: None that I experienced.
The Bottom Line: Gulf got me to and from my destination safely, on-time, and with great service.
You can't ask for too much more.

I had a great experience on Gulf Air recently.
My flight details were:
GF 008 London(LHR) to Bahrain(BAH)
Business class, seat 16H, on an A340 aircraft.
GF 911 Bahrain(BAH) to Beirut(BEY)
Coach class, seat 46H, on a 767-300 aircraft.
GF 910 BEY to BAH
Business class, seat 9K, on an A340 aircraft.
GF 007 BAH to LHR
Coach class, seat 48H, on an A340 aircraft.
What was good:
I think anytime you can fly in a class other than coach, it is good.
The seats were older but comfortable enough to get a good nights rest, even in coach.
There was a great selection of movies, since they have such a wide range of routes.
I watched an Indian movie called Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
The food was wonderful too! It is rare to get such fresh fruit on a flight, but it tasted as if it were right off the tree!
I also enjoyed the Hareera Soup- a Middle Eastern soup flavored with tomato, basil, and mint.
The Cabin Crew were very professional and well dressed.
I still think the Inflight uniforms of Gulf are some of the best!
The whole airport experience, from check-in to boarding was perfect as well.
There were no flight delays and the flights were turbulence free.
What was bad:
Not too much really.
We made an emergency landing on GF 007 into LHR due to loss of hydraulics, but that is not something that Gulf can control. Besides, as a regular traveler, I know that is a relatively safe procedure that is just done as a precaution.
A little bit about Gulf:
They are based at Bahrain International Airport, but also have smaller bases set up at Muscat and Abu Dhabi.
They fly A320, A330, A340, and 767 aircraft to approximately 39 cities throughout the world.
Overall, I would fly Gulf again anytime!
I had no problems with Gulf and thought they were great!
I wish they flew into the United States like they used to, so it would be easier to fly them.
