| hawndude's Full Review: Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan |
If you're a member of the MileagePlan you have to get the Bank of America Debit Card. If you have a checking account, and don't bank with B of A, switch now! What are you waiting for?
I ran across this back in October 2001 when I was calling the MileagePlan to redeem my miles for a few First Class upgrades and heard the promotion while on hold. As soon as I was done with getting my upgrades mailed to me, I called Bank of America and opened a new checking account that day! The downside is that this debit card costs $30.00 per year; but when you think about how much we use our check cards on everyday purchases like the grocery store, gas or just about anything we'll make up the cost of getting the debit card in 1 to 2 months time.
If you also have their Classic, Gold or Platinum credit cards...that's even better to get the miles you want for the award that you desire.
Go out and get the check card at Bank of America if you don't already have it in your wallet!
I'm sold on it, now I just wish more airlines would partner with more banks for our benefit.
