Frustrating

Pros: cheap,cute animals on each airplanes,
Cons: not knowledgeble people who cause problems and inconvenience,
The Bottom Line: it is okey for short travel(going to 1-3 states away) with Frontier.

I have used this airline 3-4 times, and they have processed everything with no mistake only once (1 flight). I am still alive, so it at least prove the flight by Frontier is safe. But the service is a problem. most times they do make mistake and make something inconvenience.
10years ago, I traveled with a cat, I wanted to sit with my cat(I mean cat to be under my seat), so I double checked (how to get the seat etc..) and paid for the cat ($50) as required, but when I took my cat inside the airplane, I was told that cat needed a ticket if she want to be on board with me(it was a lie! I never heard of that pet needed to pay for seat(maybe a big dog), the $50 I paid should have allowed the cat to be under my seat as a special carry-in baggage) and they told me that the cat should go in the cabin, so my cat was taken to the cabin(although the seat next to me was empty). when I got off the plane and picked up my cat, she was so scared and shaken because the cabin was very cold. I felt very sorry for the cat, I wondered if I needed to pay for $50 for cat(I rally don't think so, if cat was in cabin like large item like suit case, it should have been no charge, I believe). I think I was right, the second time I traveled with cat, I paid for $50 same as the first time and cat was allowed to be inside. nobody told me that cat must have had ticket. (so I think the company deceived me and took unnecessarily $50 for my first travel).
Recently I traveled to Las Vegas from CO by Frontier. (I wanted to go with other airline, but my reservation was kind of last-minute, so the only available flight was Frontier's). I had a baby with me this time and the baby is about 2 years old and can sit by herself. I wasn't sure if I could keep her on my lap during the travel, so I purchased 2 tickets for 2 seats. I paid for 2 seats of course, but at the check in counter, I got only one ticket and asked why, but the man at the Frontier counter said it was correct. But when we got inside the plane, I found it was not correct. only one seat was reserved for me and baby. also it was in the middle of 3 seats. (I requested for aisle. my seat was middle when I returned to CO as well, how stupid and inconsiderate the company is! I had a baby, why I requested for aisle was because I may need to go to the bathroom anytime such as if baby cried, or she needed to change diaper, I didn't want to bother other passengers everytime I stand up and go to bathroom with baby). anyway I got 1 seat for 2 people, of course I immediately complained. they still said my seat was one and for me and baby, they didn't believe until I showed my receipt.
They believed and confirmed that I purchased 2 seats for 2 people and promised me that they'd issue me refund. As soon as we arrived Las Vegas, I got refund application. I was told that credit would appear in my bank acct in few days. the incident occurred on April 29 and I didn't get any credit even after 10-14 days, so I mailed copies of the papers with my letter in mid May, then someone from the company called when I was not at home. my husband answered the phone and he told me that the Frontier would be sending me refund check by mail. (that was funny. the company's refund policy said that refund are processed in the same method as purchase, so if you bought ticket by credit card, refund should be processed as credit to credit card acct), I paid by credit card, so I wondered why they would be sending me check. I waited for 2 weeks from the call, and nothing came to my mail box. it was almost 3 weeks from the date of the travel. (not few days, but few weeks). I e-mailed them about it and mentioned that I would be filing complaints with BBB if I don't get anything in the next few days, I finally got money back today. it's May 28. it took a month.
