Terrific First Experience WIth Jet Blue

Pros: Cheap, convenient, friendly, efficient, beautiful aircraft, fun
Cons: The schtick might get old, although I enjoyed round 1
The Bottom Line: Cheap (cheap!), convenient, friendly and very comfortable in a pristine new aircraft.

After attending a wedding in Long Beach, we needed to get to Northern California comfortably, quickly and cheaply. Jet Blue performed on all three criteria.
We've heard the "buzz" about Jet Blue -- friendly, funny patter, a real emphasis on customer service, really comfortable seats with actual (are you sitting down?) LEG ROOM! Each seat has a personal LCD satellite TV screen and, on our 55 minute, $59 flight, they even managed to serve drinks and a snack -- I loved the blue potato chips.
The cabin crew was excellent, the plane was pristine and the jokes were funny (at least this time, though I could imagine having enough sooner than later.) I was surprised that when leaving the ship, the captain had never heard my comment that "You really Blue this flight" I had to explain the pun but he and the crew had a good-natured laugh when I did.
Compare this with a miserable, cramped, sleepless red eye a week later on United Air Lines from SFO to PHL in a filthy cabin and this airline is as close to heaven as you can get on a scheduled flight. I will definitely look for Jet Blue flights when ever I travel.
