Cons: Tvs can turn off when the plane makes sharp turns.
The Bottom Line: The best airline! The Best price! The most fun you'll ever have on a Plane!

I hate Flying plain and simple! But I must say that jet blue put part of my worries at ease.
My boyfriend and I were traveling down to Florida for week and being poor college students we needed the cheapest flight with the most comfort and safety. I am totally afraid of flying and I will not fly on a small aircraft that is not widely known. So I had doubts about me actually getting on to a cheap airline that just started and is offering flights for such a low price. Well I must tell you I was wrong.
Everyone from the aircrew to the pilots was great. One of the crew members knew that I was scared and every time sometime strange happened she would run over and say that’s normal it happens every time. They brought me extra drinks, snacks, and just stopped while they were walking down the aisle to check on me. This nice treatment happen on both flights, so it just wasn’t one nice person.
The airplanes were extremely comfortable! The airplanes are blue and very metro looking inside. Why Blue you ask because blue is a calming color. All the seats were leather (no first class just coach). Each seat has its own TV that has DBS. You get 25 channels. They have animal planet, cnn. 5 sports channels, TLC, discovery.. Channels like that. You do not have to pay for earphones, in fact you can bring your own! Plus when the plane starts moving, that’s when the TVs start working! Which is great because take off is the worst part for me but my attention could be diverted by the TV. One problem I had with the TV’s was when the plane is a little bumpy or making a sharp turn, the signal gets interrupted so it shuts off. This only lasted for about a minute at a time. But not to fear there is something to watch, even if the signal gets lost. Map quest!!!! Yes map quest. There a channel that has a map that sometimes is big, than zoomed in. it’s a map of the eat coast and then the state that you are flying in. a little white plane marks the place where you are at the exact second. You know how far you are from the your destination by just looking at the map and that’s not it. You’re also able to see the altitude of the plane and what speed your going at. It was the greatest thing!!!! (Although I had visions of the plane crashing and me watching the planes altitude decrease rapidly on the TV screen in front of me)
Jet blue does not offer a meal, but they do have some really nice snacks. They come around and get your drink order, (they give you the cans!!) and you can ask for seconds and thirds if you like! Than they come around with baskets filled with snacks. (Linden chocolate chip cookies, bagel chips, trial mix, pretzels, popcorn, animal crackers. The snacks were great! And you can ask for more of these!!! It’s a lot better than the old metro jet snack box I have gotten before. (No petite formage at jet blue).
Both times the Pilots were Great!! They landed the planes with out practically any bumps. If you were sleeping you wouldn’t even know the plane had landed. Very smooth!
The prices are very good. When I flew I bought my tickets three months in advance, I don’t know if this had anything to do with my price or if there was a sale going on. My price was $69. I believe the normal price is $75 or somewhere around there. Still very cheap very direct flights to Florida.
Jet blue has helped me with my fear. I’m not cured but I know that I will have a good and relaxing trip when every I fly jet blue.
