The Bottom Line: Low fares+great service=one great airline.

II felt it was important for me to write this review and support my favorite airline in this terrible time. Airlines have been affected by this tragedy more than some other businesses around the country. At this time I support all of the US airline companies, but I would really be sorry to see this one go. So I urge everyone who needs to travel, fly JetBlue. You will not be sorry.
My JetBlue Experience.
My parents live in NYC and I went to college in Rochester, NY, which is about seven hours away by car. I made a lot of trips back and forth during those five years, but I never really enjoyed any forms of transportation before JetBlue came into town. What attracted me then were the low ticket prices. Being a poor college student I cared less about the "blue chips'" or the DTV, or the leather seats. However, after my first JetBlue flight, star eyed I realized I would never fly any other airline again. Believe me, I have been on them all. I took the ancient Delta Express from "hell" before, and even that was $100 more than the standard JetBlue fare to NYC and back.
Everything about this airline is great. The planes are new and do not make scary rattling noises, which is comforting, to say the least. The seats, I thought were very comfy, roomy and soft. Maybe because it is such a short flight, the flight attendants took our drink orders before take off. I thought that system was a lot more efficient than dragging the whole cart around like they do it on other airlines. We also had three choices of snack - pretzels, bagel chips and Chex mix (or something very similar). The DTV was a great perk; you can catch up on your news, etc. I also liked the device that tracks the whole trip on the screen, it was kind of neat. Even though all of my trips were short, they were always pleasant. One of the best parts, though, is the very hassle-free electronic ticketing system. No more half-hour calls for reservations. You can type all of the information online, pay and you will get your confirmation and itinerary via email within 24 hours. This makes the phrase: "Did you remember the tickets?" obsolete.
