Jet Blue's customer service is the worst i have ever seen. For one, if there is a drop of water on the ground they will start canceling flights immediately instead of delaying. I took a flight from IAD to JFK, which was cancelled from the start. I got the airport 3 hours early and my flight was already cancelled. I was initially told, that they did not even have any other flights. Then while on the phone, away from the counter requesting my refund and starting to cancel my plans, the customer rep informs me that she found a seat for me on an prior delayed flight. This is after she supposedly telling me that there was none available. So I did get to JFK, a little late.
Guess what happened on the way back? Flight was cancelled, AGAIN, and all the rude customer service lady could tell was that I had two options (refund, or standby ticket for a flight leaving at 10:00 pm). The former was never going to materialize, because I had already been informed by the same lady that it was sold out. Keep in mind that I have to go to work the following day. So, what do I do buy a ticket for US Air, which was not cancelled or delayed.
When I requested my refund they told me that I am only receiving a portion of my ticket back. This is because there are two different prices on each ticket for each way on a round-trip and when you purchase a ticket from priceline. They do not mention the breakdown. So you can imagine what Jet Blue told me on the phone when I was trying to get at least half the price refunded. I'll leave it to the imagination
I have never had so many problems for a flight that lasts only 50 mins! I have never seen an airline that has such little regard for its customers. They do not care that you too have plans and do not realize that when they cancel a flight that the customer then has to find another carrier and pay a hefty premium for a one-way ticket, because it is a last minute flight. I twice as much more to get to and from points A and B. I thought they were a discount carrier.
