Still no bag (Reply to this comment)
by verydisgusted9
For those who have asked, no-- the bag has not been returned as yet. What is known is only that the Midwest agent in Ft Myers FL placed it on an American Airlines flight to Miami instead of expediting to LaGuardia. At this point, it becomes a Midwest claim item to resolve financially. I expect that my Dad's spirit is smiling, saying "see- I *told you* never to fly."
The Midwest flight crew, for the person who inquired, were capable and professional on the flying portion of the trip. As a licensed (not commercial) pilot myself, I'd expect no less. The crew bore a look that said they were pretty exhausted, and it's my guess that Midwest doesn't treat its crews one bit better than they treat passengers. Sad to see the slide of a once-superb carrier. But that seems to be where they all are headed.
Over and out...

I enjoyed reading your informative article. I loathe flying, do so only for family emergency. AmTrak is my flight of choice when I have time.

having recently been without luggage for five days myself. I do, though, think a little info on the in-flight experience would make this a more well-rounded review.
Let me know if you update!
