I flew Spirit from NYC to LAX. Wow what a horrible airline. First off the people at the booth were very nasty (and this was pre 9/11). They wanted to charge me an extra 100 dollars because the luggage was 2 punds over the limit, even though the person I was flying with was 20 punds under. So I had to physically take things out of my bag and out it into hers! Thats ridiculous! Of course the plane was 8 hours late and the entire flight crew was nasty. They fly old MD81's that I feel should be put out of commission. This is one airline to stay away from!
