The cheapest way to make it to Las Vegas is to drive. Unfortunately, my weekends are of the two day variety. Flying on the major airlines (American, TWA, Delta) has always been expensive, unless you have the luxury of going standby.
Sun Country does not have any flights out of Little Rock, but for the price I am willing to drive to Oklahoma City or Dallas and catch a flight out of one of those cities. This saves me about $100 on each ticket... which is about an hour's worth of play at the tables in Vegas.
The boarding procedures, cabin accommodations and service are about what you would expect from any of the other major airlines. I was pleasantly surprised that the service was not commensurate with their air fares. The aircraft look well maintained and clean, and since they have to abide by the same FAA standards as the big boys, rest assured they are safe and well maintained internally as well.
I think the four to six hour drive is well worth the savings, and if you happen to live near an airport that is service by Sun Country, consider yourself lucky... and consider giving them a try.
