Pros: Lots of things to do and find
Cons: A few extra expenses not included in price, such as soda
The Bottom Line: Considering all the inclusions the trip was pretty reasonable. I definately reccomend it.

| susieq112's Full Review: Carnival Fantasy |
As wedding gift from my parents, my husband and I received a cruise on the Fantasy.
Fantasy is one of the many ships that Carnival has on a variety of different cruise options.
This was the first time my husband or I had every been on a cruise. So we had NO idea what to expect.
Upon arriving to board the ship we waited in line to show our Birth Certificates and then to board the ship.
We entered the ship and found our room and sat our stuff down. We were slightly suprised by the room. Two twin beds, fortunately they were moveable. The room was very small, but what could we expect. So we moved onto exploring the ship and learning where ecerything was.
The one bad thing about getting on ship, we learned, was that you spend a majority of time learning where everything is.
THE DETAILS
-----------
1. All Inclusive (to a point) When you purchase your tickets for your cruise, you are buying your lodging, food, and some entertainment. Things that are not included are: alcholic beverages, All Soda, and port excursions amoung a few other extras
2. Casino - there is a small casino on board which offers a variety of table games and slot machines.
3. Internet Access - You can access the internet on computers in a main lobby (But it does cost extra)
4. Duty Free Shops - Duty Free shops are located on board selling a variety of items from cartons of cigs to watches.
5. Bulletins - Every morning you get a Carnival Capers Newsletter, which lets you know about whats going on that day. Your entertainent options and so forth.
6. Dinning Rooms - Every evening you will be served a 'fancy' meal. Proper attire is required, so don't forget to pack that dress or pant suit. Unfortunately since I didnt take well to snails (Escargo) or other delicacies often served I usual found my self at the 24-hour pizza place.
7. Other meals - Every morning and lunch there is a buffet avilable an das I said above there is a 24-hour pizza place available at all times.
8. Tips - Your tips will automatically be added to ship Credit Card. This is one thing I didn't like. I don't know if the tips are different on different cruises or what but it was $40.00 per person. That was for the person cleaning your room and your waiter. so at $10.00 bucks a day each I personally though it was a bit steep, especially since we attended dinner only 3 times instead of four. But you are offered the chance to change your tip amounts.
9. Ship Credit Card - First off it's not really a credit card but that's the easiest thing to call it. When you bord ship you are given a card with your name and number, now you can have money put on the card or you can give credit card information to use the card. You use your card to purchase pretty much anything on board.
10. Ports of Call - On our particular cruise there were two Ports of Call, One Freeport and the other at the Nausau. Before you arrive at your ports of call you will receive a paper with all your excursion options and prices. We did not do any excursions, but while at Nausau it just happened to be their Independence Day and we saw a very impressive fireworks display.
