When you think of a cruise, you think of you and you spouse getting away for a week of relaxiation and fun, but not on this cruise! Thats what I thought when I got aboard the Holiday for my first cruise. Then I realized that Carnival had set up tons of things for the kids to do, including scavenger hunts, disco dancing, air hockey tournement, race car tournement, and much more! You will hardly ever see you kids on the cruise with the great list of things to do. One day they may take the kids and give them a tour of the ship, then at night they will have pizza and pop in the arcade room. They give you tons of things to do.
A good idea is give your kids $10 per day on their "card". The card is like a credit card for everyone on board. The adults can sign over any ammount of money each day for stuff onboard. This means if you want an icecream or a pop, you just had the waiter your card and they deduct the cost from the card. Say they want to play the arcades, just stick their card in and it will deduct the price right off the card. It's a great way to track what your kids are spending.
While the kids are in the arcade or having loads of fun, you can enjoy the three pools for gamble a little in the casino. Some days they will have bingo in the hall. At night they always have a show, wethor it be a comedian or bradway show. There is tons to do on the ship.
