Pros:Awesome trip, lots to do, even for kids!
Cons:Could do without Nassau
The Bottom Line: An above average experience that would be excellent if they skipped Nassau!
My family took the Disney Cruise during the inaugural season, and had a fantastic time. My kids were then 3 and 1, and there was plenty for all of us to do. There are fantastic activities planned all day for kids, and parents are given a beeper, so they can be reached if the kids need them. The food was amazing, and our server even took our restless baby for a walk around the restaurant so that we could eat in peace! Castaway Cay is absolutely beautiful, it was like a dream. We sat on the beach and drank while we watched the kids playing in the white sand and BLUE water. It was an experience we'll never forget, and we can't wait to do it again someday! The cabins are much bigger than on normal cruise ships, too. The only negatives: it is an expensive vacation, though well worth it if you have the money. Second, we did not like Nassau at all, and spent about an hour there before heading back to the ship. If we had had the money to take a shore excursion, though, we might have liked it more.
