Pros: Nice, destination oriented ship.
Cons: It's a lower fare cruise line and not a newer ship.
The Bottom Line: The Norwegian Dream is an older ship with great destinations, I would recommend the Baltic cruise to anyone looking to see many european countries at once.

| mikefortune's Full Review: Norwegian Dream |
I currently work for NCL and have worked and vacationed aboard the Norwegian Dream. When it came out it was one of the nicest ships around. It has sense been surpassed by newer, bigger, grander designs; however, this does not take away from the runs that the Dream cruises. From the Baltics to South America there are no more exciting destinations and no better way to get them all in so quickly. The food aboard the ship is not what I would recommend anyone base their decisions for cruising on. Nor the entertainment, this ship is geared for destination minded cruisers. If you are looking for onbaord activities and glamor and glitz try a newer ship such as the Star, Sky, Sun or Dawn. There are many ways to see parts of the world, but cruising really can be fun and relaxing if you just remember that you are on a ship, not at a resort and that not everything is possible at sea that is on land.
The food and entertainment may be around run of the mill, but the arenas for these events are quite nice for purely aesthetic value. There's a nice sports bar in the rear and a great view from the restaurant back there as well. I will say this to all who expect some spectacular pool deck. It's not the most incredible community pool you've ever been to. It is salt water and crowded. But, there are some great drinks from the bar and the hot tub can often be found filled with some of the male and female dancers from the shows! A plus for all the singles and would-be hopefuls.
Again, for more cruise descriptions see my The Norway review.
I will also be posting Island information. I used to live and work in the Caribbean.
