| eyvettes's Full Review: Norwegian Wind |
Our cruise adventure began with the inaugural Caribbean season of The Norwegian Wind on November 27 1999. The ship had completed its Hawaiin cruise and was to start the fall season with new ports of call, these were to include Roatan and Belize . Two new island for us to explore.
The ship was beautiful and clean The boarding (embarkation)the vessel was swift and professional. We were welcomed with a fabulous lunch, just a sample of the Wonderful food the was waiting for us to partake on our seven great days on board.
Our cabin was a P1 suite . Very nice it had a lovely balcony and great view. Not as much space as most suites that we have had but nice all along We were a little disappointed that it had such a small bathroom . For a suite I expected more.We had complementary champagne and hors d'oeuvres,A good touch . Our cabin steward was good not very special (no animals made out of towels) but did a fine job keeping up with us.
The food was GREAT as only Norwegian Cruise Lines Can !!!! From the room service to the coffee in the pizza bar all was above excellent! I can only recommend the deserts ,deserts and more deserts. The chocolate midnight buffett was pure heaven. The 10 pounds that I gained was a testimony to that. Cruise Norwegian Wind for great food service and Exotic Islands
