I took a Royal Caribbean in 1998. We were passengers of the Legend of the Seas. We left from San Juan and started our journey. My first impression of the boat was "huge". So you board and walk into a beautiful atrium. Then we get to our very nice room with a sea view balcony. So the presentation of the boat was very nice and made you free like you were in paradise.
The food was absolutely amazing. Everything from cherries jubilee to room service pizza. The room service was just as good as the dinner. So make sure that you are ready to eat because trust me you can't turn anything down.
The entertainment on the trip was fabulous. There was the evening's show that you could go to. And on some nights there was a band playing on the sun deck. And for you with teens there was a wonderful teen dance room that you could drop you kid off so you could go have alone time with you spouse or take a chance at the casino.
Over all the Royal Caribbean cruise was the best vacation I have ever been on. And if you have not been on a cruise then you need to go on one and be treated like royalty.
