Pros: The most relaxing cruise I have ever taken.
Cons: If you get the slightest sea-sick, this is not the cruse for you.
The Bottom Line: For the true sailor it was awesome and relaxing. It allows you to have fun yet take time for yourself.

| msdocky's Full Review: Windjammer Mandalay |
My husband and I had not been on a vacation alone together in 7 years. We had previously been aboard a Windjammer cruise in 1997 and we had a wonderful time. We had planned to take another soon, but time got away from us.
We had thought we were going to Venezuela, but due to the unrest, the itinerary was changed. It didn't matter - the experience of the San Blas Islands was extraordinary. Pristine beaches and aqua water lent their charm to our snorkeling. Each day was a new adventure. The week passed in a blur. Our next cruise with Windjammer will be the Mandalay two-week cruise along the Windward and Leeward Caribbean Islands. One week was not enough due to the time it takes to get to your embarkation point. We will never cruise another line but Windjammer.
The food is very good - not "haught cuisine" but a good variety, well-tastinig and not too much. Some night we had fresh fish caught by a passenger and it was excellently prepared. The beech party lunches are great!
We stayed in the Admiral Suite - it was clean and well apportioned. Our bed was very comfortable. It is not the Ritz - but you don't spend much time in the cabins. Our steward was always attentive to our needs.
Each night is a different activity - Seahunt (a racy scavenger hunt), Crab races you can bet on, and my favorite - a "P" mascarade party - you come as some one/thing that begins with "P" (pimps, prostitutes, pirates...)
The Crew is marvelous - there is nothing that they can't do for you.
