We took the Grenada to Venezuela cruise in June of 1999. The ship is an older sailing ship. We sailed (instead of engine power) most of the cruise. The sailing was great and sleeping on the top deck under the stars shouldn't be missed. The food is not 5 star, but is very good. The sailing experience, the destinations and the people make this a fantastic experience. You get to visit smaller destinations than the normal cruise ports that the larger boats visit. Fellow passengers are nice and easy going people. You'll meet fantastic people from a wide variety of age ranges and backgrounds on these cruises. Everyone is there to have fun! It is a very casual experience, no formal wear is needed. I highly recommend it and my wife who tends to be a little more picky than I had a fantastic time as well.
