Pros: Luxurious, fun, exciting, and beautiful
Cons: Due to its small size, there is a lot of rocking which may cause sickness
The Bottom Line: I highly reccomend it. It is a comfortable size, very luxurious, and extremely enjoyable.

This cruise has it all. I recently took my family on a Carribean Cruise over Christmas. My wife planned the whole trip, and to be honest, I was very skeptical. I'm what you might call an adventurer. I enjoy relaxing, but when I think about a cruise, I think of laziness, and that's not my idea of a fun vacation. Windstar is an active cruise. There are not many days at sea, mostly they sail at night, and tour islands during the day. Almost everyday, we had a choice to get off the ship and explore one of the many beautiful carribean islands. The cruise line would help us make our plans, but we were free to do anything we wanted. While at port, Windstar offers a sports deck, off of which you can go sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, and my personal favorite, scuba diving. They offer a great scuba program, in which you do not have to be previously certified. They have a great beginner program. The night life is so/so. It is a small cruise ship, so there aren't that many people (although everyone we met was very friendly). At night, we would have a fantastic dinner, followed by some dancing. We would get to bed pretty early. The food on the ship was absolutely fabulous. There are two resteraunts, and both are five star quality. I never went hungry, in fact I ate more on that cruise then I think I have ever eaten in my life (That would be a bad thing, except I was able to work it off in the weight room). I could go on and on about this great vacation opportunity, but for the sake of your time and mine, I will conclude with saying that this will be one of the great experiences of your life. If you are thinking about a family vacation, honeymoon, or anniversary, Don't overlook this cruise ship.
