Thanks for the insight. I plan to do that. I have a pair of sneakers I bought just for the rain and I also have a pair of sandles I took along too. I have no idea what to expect. Have fun in Chile...sounds like you have the travel bug too.

The rain doesn't last as long here in Korea, but I would recommend you get yourself a pair of plastic shoes for when it hits. The first year I was here the rain completely rotted my sneakers because they never dried completely. This year I bought a pair of Crocs.
Enjoy your year! I'm about to head to Chile after 2 years here.

Thanks, yep you've been there once you've watched your dinner move before you eat it. I actually did the snake, but I drew the line when I found out FIDO was on the menu. The person with me said and I quote, "Love me, love my dog, is what the Ameican says, but the Chinese say, love my dog!"
I have learned alot being here but mostly I have learned to word "flexible" and to bend and not break.

You sound like you have found the "real deal", warts and all.
Funny about the MFC. We saw several almost deserted versions in Vietnam.
As you say, they like to know what they are eating. However, I drew the line at snake.
