After talking with a few people, I have noticed that many people believe that because of the wonderful relaxing atmosphere in Aruba that there isn't a lot to do. Well, there is actually a great deal to do on this wonderful if small island.
The tour company I have dealt with in the past, (and the company recommended by my travel agent) is DePalm tours. In the past everyone I have dealt with in the company has been professional and courteous. They have been willing to help with problems, provide information and throughout everything seem genuinely happy and patient.
Some of the trips they offer include
- ISLAND SIGHTSEEING TOUR (morning)
- FOUR WHEEL DRIVE ADVENTURE (full day)
- CURACO ONE-DAY TOUR (full day) - this trip is basically an island hop to another nearby island. It is a great way to see another island without taking another vacation. For US citizens, you only need your birth certificate on this trip (traveling to Aruba only requires a birth certificate)
- CARACAS ONE-DAY TOUR (full day) - this is another full day trip, this time to Venezuela. A passport is required.
- HORSEBACK RIDING
- HELICOPTER RIDES
- FANTASY DINNER & DANCE CRUISE - take a romantic cruise to dinner (it is actually a very good dinner too) and then cruise back dancing on the party boat!
- GLASS BOTTOM BOAT
- SNORKELING
To get the complete information about DePalm tours, you can go to the Aruba website (http://www.aruba.com) and search for DePalm. However, since the prices are subject to change, you will have to either call DePalm tours or your travel agent for prices.
Aruba has very enticing beaches, don't let them lure you completely away from the adventures.
Enjoy your trip!
