We recently travelled to Treasure Cay, in the Abacos, Bahamas for the 3rd time. Over the years we've seen many destinations become tourist traps & the overall quality of beaches destroyed - but definitely NOT in Treasure Cay! National Geographic has listed the beach at Treasure Cay in it's Top 10 for years & years & it is truly magnificant. Treasure Cay in itself is not technologically advanced, there is no high-end shopping or luxury accomodations, but it is just perfect to relax here. A mom & pop grocery store (very expensive however), ice cream shop, little gift stores & a beautiful marina are about it. The beach is impeccible & pristine, we were often the only ones on it in sight. The views of hundreds of starfish sunbathing while walking out on a sandbar at low tide is priceless. A highly recommended vacation spot if you don't need high-end, high-tech or nightlife of any kind!
