Went on April 15, 2008 to Nassau for the day. Wanted to go snorkeling and heard about the Flying Cloud. A 57'ish Cat. Beautiful day outside. Seas were good. We met at the Marina on Paradise Island. They usually can pick you up no charge from The Rawson Square in Nassau. We had from 9 to 5 to do something in Nassau. On a Sunday, not much is open. But they offer a full day snorkeling and it includes lunch which was excellent (ribs and chicken, salad and rice & beans, fruits). All you can drink sodas after the snorkeling. We also beached the Cat on Rose island where we could roast ourselves or play volleyball.
The crew was very nice. Kai is funny and they all cater to your needs. The cost about $75 per person for Sundays.
I took my fifteen year old son with me. His first trip to the Bahamas. He loved it. He could not believe the clarity of the waters and all the different kinds of fish he saw. I am glad he could experience this, and I was not sure how the company/Flying Cloud crew would be. They are very professional and have been doing this for many years. They also take good care of the Catamaran and are proud of her. We started to motor out of the marina, but soon raised the two sails through the channel to Rose island.
