If you ever go to Nassau you must plan to eat at the Poop Deck! It is a great local restraunt on the eastern end of the island, looking out at Paradise Island. It has a great full bar and excellent local cuisine. I strongly recommend getting their famous Conch Chowder, Conch Salad, and Cracked Conch (maybe not all in one sitting...). The atmosphere is unmatched with an outdoor patio where you can watch the sun set and enjoy the gentle ocean breeze. The food is a little expensive, as it is all over the island, but well worth the cost for at least one dinner or lunch. I would recommend it to anyone that is even slightly curious about the favorite local food, Conch. Even if you don't like conch they have a menu full of other delicious seafood and non-seafood items.
