Our trip to the Atlantis in April was a truly memorable experience. They had recently finished the newer part of the hotel and the brochures were so absolutely gorgeous we just had to go. We took a shuttle to the hotel, and were greeted by a gorgeous fountain with gold flying horses in it. As we entered the lobby, we saw that money had not been an object when building this titan of a hotel. It truly was Poseidon's kingdom of Atlantis! Everywhere tanks of exotic fish encircled a restaurant below us, and the tile patterns and stairs (all made of marble) were exquisite. We travel a lot, but this was truly the best of the best. The food was very fresh, and there were cute snack bars where my kids could get kid's meals with complementary toys, very cute. There are several pools, and a gigantic Mayan temple is in the center of it all from which several waterslides (all very thrilling) spouted from. Best of all was the casino. Inside were two "temples", one with a blazing sun atop it, and the other with a glowing moon. Upon exiting the casiono, there is a section of top of the line shops (Versace, and Bvalgari to name a few.) The food, was very fresh and excellent my kids enjoyed it and they are very picky. The rooms were gorgeous, and the were very spacious and comfortable. I was in heaven for a week and I would definately go back again.
