It all starts out with quite possibly the most beautiful plane ride you can ever imagine. As you clear the coast of Florida you are witness to the bright blue ocean and as we landed even glimpsed at a group of dolphins swimming and jumping out of the water. I've witnessed many things in my life but that was truly remarkable. However, that was just the beginning.

Staying on Paradise Island was not the only reason 'paradise' was on my mind. When you are surrounded by clean sandy beaches which overlook the clearest of water there is no complaining allowed. This picture is something people dream about and the Bahamas makes it all happen. This is just the beginning, as there is so much more in store for you on your vacation to the Bahamas.

Relaxation isn't your idea of the perfect vacation? Not a huge problem but everyone needs some relaxation time. After all, the beach is the key to many of the exciting excursions you can take part in. Para-sailing, deep sea fishing, jet skiing, banana boat or motor boat rides are all available over the clear ocean. Or if wanting to stay on land taking a trip to the flea market for some souvenirs or ATV riding may be a little more adventurous. The key advice for all of these activities, water or land, is that haggling is part of the culture and it is a good skill to cut the costs of this otherwise expensive vacation.

Finally, the Bahamas may not have the amazing tourist attractions that other 'Spring Break' locations do. It doesn't have Mayan ruins or rain forests, but it has many advantages over these popular places. Firstly, the Bahamas has much less crime, as there are huge penalties for committing crimes to tourists as this is virtually their only income. Also, the people are very nice and speak English. They may not be in a hurry and tell you to, "relax man" but they gladly help, even though it may take longer than you may like. The atmosphere that the Bahamas brings gives you a much more relaxing worry-free vacation that won't be forgotten.
