Our family went to the Bitter End Yacht Club - 41-year old windsurfer Dad, 40-year old former-sailing instructor Mom, 5 year old girl, and 3-year old boy. We had so much fun! Boating every day! The winds were steady but a bit high for the little ones - it was always blowing 20 knots. The kids loved the hobies and the optimists. We also went on a captained day cruise on a 50-foot catamaran to the Baths on the other side of the island. We also did a fair amount of hiking - on our last day, we took a ferry and taxi and hiked up to Virgin Gorda Peak. What a spectacular view!
The resort advertised they had a kids program, but it was not much. I think on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11, they have an arts and crafts program for kids age 5 and up. I could bring my 3-year old but I had to stay with him. Not much of break for me! And the crafts instructor was an offshift sailing instructor with no experience with little kids.
The food and facilities are great. The people are all friendly.
