Pros: No work, all service, dreamy place!
Cons: Having to leave
The Bottom Line: We got what we wanted -- to have everyday go smoothly & easy, enjoy our surroundings and the people, be awed by the landscape -- St.Lucia is stunning!

For a chance to kick back and be completely catered to, this is the way to go. Our honeymoon here was superb and relaxing, as all we had to do was be there. Overall the food was delicious and plentiful, the staff is pleasant, thorough, and sometimes signing along with the ambient music! We visited Halycon and found it lacking, and everyday we saw people make the 1 hour transfer from Regency to spend the day at Grande. The grounds and buildings are beautifully designed. We went with the concierge room and highly recommend the extra cost. We also flew into the southern airport and loved the 1 1/2 hour drive through the rolling hills/mountains, banana plantations, and fishing villages to get to the Grande. For those expecting the pool blue Caribbean waters -- the beaches appear to lack any outlying reefs, so the water is lovely, but not pool blue. It's more of an active, very small waves kind of beach.
My wife got possibly the worst manicure of her life at the spa, but that's the ONLY thing we were unhappy with! We feel that Sandal's provided what we expected to get from the ads and reviews. Also, get rooms with bayside views as the view of Rodney Bay alone is stunning!
