Pros: very friendly staff, reasonable arrangements, and beautiful
Cons: beach wasn't too friendly for snorkeling, try swimming around the corner
The Bottom Line: Stay there - not annoying like Sandals resorts, or expensive as Hyatt. You're not spending all day at the resort - wake up & leave for the day.

WOW - I can't believe the horrible experience Skygirl had. I can't say one negative thing about that place. So you get your room, and it's a jeep-ride away. Tucked amidst a bunch of trees and flowers. If you are looking for a natural experience - boy, you'll get one here. I mean, it's REALLY natural, and why not? Why expect luxury on an island. It was a great experience for my husband and me. We were picked up/dropped off wherever and whenever we needed. We got a tour of the entire resort at our own time. However, if you are looking for a great place to snorkel - don't go to Windjammer. The beach is average, and you kind of have to swerve around the corner to find a better (and less secluded) part of the beach. We traveled in April of 2000, and were surrounded by many foreigners from the UK and a lot of kids. Probably could have done without the kids everywhere - but that wasn't a big deal. At any rate, it's really not a bad place to stay. After all, you didn't fly all the way to BEAUTIFUL St. Lucia to stay in your hotel room all day, did you? There is so much to see on the entire island and would be a big waste of your time and money if you didn't take advantage of the whole island.
