I love Vienna! It is absolutely beautiful. And, of all the places that I have been to, it is my favorite city. There are four things that stand out in the list of many reasons why I love Vienna.
1) Music--it is everywhere--Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert, Strauss (all of whom are buried in Vienna, by the way), and of course, Mozart. The streets of Vienna in the summer are full of musicians playing all kinds of musical instruments. These performances are usually very impressive.
2) Parks--Vienna has the most beautiful parks I have ever seen. There are many of them throughout the city. There is no better way to kill time than to just sit in one of Vienna's parks, listen to music, and enjoy a nice day surrounded by flowers and fountains.
3) Museums and architecture--Vienna is a walking museum. Imagine the most beautiful building in your city, then imagine a few dozen buildings of similar beauty, then put them all in the center of one city--you'll be in Vienna.
4) Food--especially desserts--I could eat the whole store in Vienna. The pastries, ice cream, and numerous kinds of cookies are very, very good. And, of course, how could one forget Vienna's famous coffee houses.

Take the phone off the hook
and disappear for a while
It's alright you can afford
to lose a day or two
When will you realize...
