Vienna, my first love in my extensive travels (Reply to this comment)

It's been several years since I visited Vienna with my husband, before our two children were born. Having owned a travel agency we traveled exensively for the 10 years before our kids arrived. I agree with all I've read of each of the reviews. Being Roman Catholic, a lover of music , the visual and performing arts etc. I would like to add Vienna has some of the loveliest Catholic churches and cathedral in the world. The opera house is not to be missed. Being a lover of fine food, the Viennese desserts are the absolute best and lightest in the world. This coming from a woman whose favorite place in London is Queen's Row, close to the Parliament and Ambassadors "palaces": one street, where, one can imagine, restaurants cater to worldwide VIPs! Paris, of course, is known as the city of light, and lovers, but we found Vienna to be absolutely invigorating in the amore arena, our first child was conceived in that glorious city. In fact, of all the European countries we traveled, many times, Austria was our favorite and we returned many times but have not traveled since our small children are too young to savor the experience. If I had to pick one European country to travel it would be Austria, so clean, green, antique and charming, Salzburg is not to be missed either!
