The Mus e du Louvre is a really big art museum. It is the museum in Paris, France that houses the famous painting Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci. Some people believe that this painting is a self portrait of himself, just as a woman. Da Vinci was a great artist who was also a magnificent inventor and sculptor. I am not sure how many of his other pieces are in the Louvre, but the paintings he does have in there are really good. If you go to the Louvre then you should give yourself up 3 or 4 days if you want to see it all. When I was there I didn't know how big it really was and I saw maybe just the one wing. This wing is known as the Denon Wing. This wing is where the Mona Lisa is being shown. There are also a lot of other art works in this wing. I can't tell much about the other wings because I have not been there. When I was there, there was so much more I wanted to see and not much time to do it in. I was with one of those tours, so I was on the run to see all the other amazing things there are in Paris. If I could do it all over I would of spent more time to look at the other wings in the Louvre. I think that what I saw of the Louvre was really pretty and could just imagine how the rest of the museum looked. I heard that they also added a new wing into the Louvre. It is an ancient Egyptian area with mummies and tombs. I can not tell you if it is good or bad because I have not seen it before.
