Thank you. I'm glad you liked the review. I hadn't heard of her or of that type of painted play before and I definitely found myself moved by it.

Thanks, I'm glad I made the museums come alive for you. One thing I don't know that I successfully conveyed is how much you can feel Anne in the buildings, and part of that comes from having read the book I think, and that is indeed something I think Anne would be happy about.

When we visited Amsterdam laat year we were very moved by the exceptional talent of this young artist - her work looked so contemporary (and very similar in style to an artist friend of mine).
Her talent demonstrated how just one life lost in Auschwitz was such a waste, and yet there were countless others...
Your description of this museum was just as I remembered, as well as the Anne Frank museum which we also visited.
Thank you so much for this touching piece & for your reading, rating and comments on my most recent review on Auschwitz.

Wonderful review! (Reply to this comment)

You can easily see how much you enjoyed both museums - and you described them very well. I could almost see them. :)
Well, if I ever make it to Amsterdam, I will definitely visit these places. I remember - as most people do, I suppose - reading The Diary of Anne Frank when I was younger and imagining what it was possibly like to be a girl hiding and still trying to have a normal life through it all.
Also, the fact that Anne Frank had wanted her diary published and Mr. Frank's determination to make this happen, well...Anne would have been thrilled, I'm sure of it.
Wonderful job, quasar! Thank you.
