Amsterdam is for amateurs.
A few of the girls in the windows there are from Brazil and other South American countries.
I guess brown bigg butts are not your thing
Im looking forward to my first visit there this year :-)

Nice review, but I was offended by two things:
- if you are going ot mention things in Portuguese, please verify the spelling. It's:
"coco gelado"
- second, it's customary for attendants to pick the tip from the guest's hands, since leaving money on the table makes it easy for someone else to take it.
Don't complain about Brazilians being anti-tourist if you don't fit the usual tourist. To get the best treatment in Brazil, you have to be more a 100% experienced tourist...
You said it right, Brazil is not Europe.

Thank you for your wonderfully descriptive opinion on Rio. It only solidifies my NEED to go there...although, the climate is kinda "tropical" here at home too! Thanks again. I look forward to reading more of your opinions. TJ

Yeah no kidding- I had to go back and actually delete a few reviews and upload them again, because there were comments left from AGES ago that I didn't know about- and some of them were really offensive! :(
You kind of have to police yourself around here, and it's hard to do that when you're looking back through so many reviews. :)

Women everywhere are reading this review and going "nope nope nope" and winding up in Death Valley in a pop up trailer on vacation ;)!
I got a hoot out of your style, skyth :) Sorry the women in NY are so awful. I kind of noticed that in Boston too. My husband and I were walking around hand in hand, getting glared at, and listening to snatches of conversation that mostly went along the lines of "and then that s.o.b. did..." etc. Scary.
